For the additional music in My Octopus Teacher, I crafted a hybrid score to reflect the protagonist's emotional journey. Textural elements sit underneath live-recorded sound design, gradually introducing themselves as the narrative tension builds. Working alongside Kevin Smuts and the Netflix team, I was given the chance to create a soundscape that departed a little from the traditional orchestral score, instead leaning into a more experimental and immersive approach.

For Craig Foster's memoir Amphibious Soul, I sound designed, mixed, and mastered nearly 27 companion films, composing and curating the original score throughout. I addition to this, I engineered and recorded the full audiobook, building a mobile sound studio to meet HarperOne's long list of technical specifications. Directed by Gordon Rothman and produced by Craig and myself, this almost 10-hour audiobook brings some of the factors that are missing from modern life to the surface.

For Berklee's commencement concert, I arranged and conducted an ensemble performance of Jill Scott's "He Loves Me," performed live by 70 musicians for an audience of over 5,000, with Jill Scott herself in attendance. Having only two weeks to complete the entire arrangement and rehearsal, I focused on creating a lush, dynamic sound that honored the original while showcasing the ensemble's talents. Jill was dancing in the crowd and later thanked us personally for the rendition. This full performance was later shared widely on social media - reaching over 250k people.

Narrated by Dr. Jane Goodall & Craig Foster, this impact film aired at COP27 to inspire and drive the leading CEO's of today to make a positive change in their policies and practices. I was responsible for dialogue editing/design and original score. Since Jane's passing, this piece has spread awareness and reached hundreds of thousands of people, createing change on an individual as well as company-wide scale.
